Can I order risk-free? What if my chimney does not fit?
If your chimney does not fit, you can return the incorrect parts at any time and simply order the correct ones online from us. Not sure whether anything is missing or exactly what you need? No problem – just get in touch and we will help you quickly and easily.
What makes OSKAR special?

Do you offer an installation service?
We do not currently offer an installation service.
How can I pay?
At OSKAR, you can choose the payment method that suits you and your needs, whether you prefer advance payment, credit card or finance.
What does SAS-TEC mean?
SAS-TEC, also known as Secure Adjust System, is our connection technology. The technology behind it is as simple as it is well designed.
When joined together, the components are securely connected with a slight anticlockwise twist. Locking bands provide additional security at the joints for maximum support.
As all components are enclosed, the insulation remains hidden from view and soot particles are reliably prevented from escaping. This gives the SAS-TEC system particularly high stability once the chimney has been fully assembled.
What diameters do you offer?
We offer diameters of 150 mm and 130 mm
How are the chimneys shipped?
The chimney components are securely packed in padded, made-to-measure boxes and shipped by our delivery partner GLS.
How long is the warranty?
The standard warranty is 15 years – with our Oskar Care+ extended warranty, you can easily increase it to 30 years.
Is Oskar a German company?
Yes, we are a German company based in Hamburg. All chimneys are shipped from our own warehouse in Hamburg.

What is the SAS-TEC system?
The connection technology used by the Secure Adjust System (SAS-TEC) is as simple as it is ingenious:
When joined together, the components are securely locked in place with a slight anticlockwise twist. Clamping bands provide additional security and maximum stability.
As all components are enclosed, the insulation remains hidden from the outside, reliably preventing soot particles from escaping. This gives the fully assembled chimney exceptional stability.

What grade of stainless steel does OSKAR use?
Our twin-wall OSKAR stainless steel chimneys are TÜV-tested, CE-certified and built to last forever. Made from high-quality V4A and V2A stainless steel, they offer exceptional durability and heat resistance up to 600 °C.
Every OSKAR stainless steel chimney is twin-wall, with 25 mm insulation, and is extremely easy to install thanks to our SAS-TEC system – for maximum safety, excellent thermal insulation and installation that’s genuinely enjoyable.
How often does the chimney need cleaning?
The Chimney Sweeping and Inspection Regulations specify how often your chimney must be swept. Your trusted chimney sweep will know these requirements and clean your stainless steel chimney professionally in accordance with the applicable rules. It’s important that your wood-burning stove is completely cool before the appointment.
How often cleaning is required depends entirely on how you use it – anything from once to four times a year is possible. It’s best to agree the exact frequency directly with your chimney sweep to keep your OSKAR chimney in top condition.
How hot does an OSKAR stainless steel chimney get on the outside?
At an internal temperature of up to 250 °C, the outside of your stainless steel chimney will also become warm – it is hottest around the height of the connecting piece. This area is generally out of children’s reach anyway. Although you cannot burn yourself on it, it’s still better to be safe than sorry – this area gets very hot!
Are all OSKAR chimneys certified?
Yes, all OSKAR chimneys are CE-certified and TÜV-tested.
What if I forgot something when ordering?
You can easily order additional components from us online at any time. Not sure whether anything is missing or exactly what you need? No problem – simply contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery usually takes 1–3 working days. Once your order leaves our warehouse in Hamburg, you’ll receive tracking details.
How can I return products?
If you would like to return an order, please use our returns portal.
Can I install the chimney myself?
Yes, thanks to the SAS-TEC system, our chimneys are very easy to install and can be completed within one day.
What if I have forgotten some parts?
That is no problem. You can order any individual part from us. If you are unsure, contact our expert team, who will be happy to help.
How many people are needed to install an OSKAR chimney?
You can install your chimney on your own. However, for an easier installation of the complete chimney, we recommend two people.
