Scope
This accessibility statement applies to the website hello-oskar.com operated by GIS House and Garden Internet Shop GmbH and covers all content and functions offered through this domain – in particular product displays, the chimney system configurator, and the quotation and ordering process.
It is issued on the basis of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the underlying EU Directive on the accessibility requirements for products and services (European Accessibility Act). Since 28 June 2025, the BFSG has required providers of certain e-commerce services to make their services accessible and provide information on their accessibility status.
Compliance with accessibility requirements
This website is partially compliant with the applicable accessibility requirements. The assessment is based on EN 301 549 (the applicable version in each case) and the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, to which EN 301 549 refers in terms of content.
Known accessibility barriers:

Some images and graphics do not have meaningful alternative text and are not read aloud, or are not read aloud correctly, by screen readers.

Some interactive carousel and slider elements (product and feature displays) cannot be operated fully using a keyboard, or their controls are not correctly linked technically to the content they are intended to control.

The heading structure of some page sections does not consistently follow a semantically correct hierarchy, which may make navigation with screen readers more difficult.

Some embedded review and video elements have not yet been fully assessed for subtitles, descriptions or frame labels.

The colour contrast of some text/image combinations (e.g. menu items on an image background) has not yet been fully checked manually.
We are continuously working to remove these barriers and will update this statement in line with our implementation progress.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 21 September 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment. Both automated testing tools and sample-based manual checks of key user journeys (home page, product configurator, quotation process) were used.
This statement is reviewed regularly, but at least once a year, and updated whenever significant changes are made to the website.
